Organization of expedition trips to Chernobyl
If after reading the articles on the website you decide that you want see the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone with your own eyes, we would be happy to provide professional tour organization services.
A visit to the Exclusion Zone is always an incredibly fascinating, complex and multi-faceted experience.
The part of the Zone that is usually visited during the regular press tours can only provide a very basic impression. In order to leave the comfort zone of a standard one-day trip, one has to plan well and prepare in advance.
There are two ways to see the Zone: an expedition trip and a tour.
An expedition is organized in case the visit has a specific goal, which may be work-related or lie in the creative field. This is a good option for professional reporters, filmmakers, photographers and so on, when work efficiency is a priority.
It is necessary to stress that the Zone is far from being a user-friendly place: large distances, radioactive contamination, non-existent infrastructure, restricted access (time and freedom of movement are limited).
However, all of these problems can be sorted if the right approach to organization is adopted.
We offer the following services:Planning the expedition in advance Professional consulting on the Zone (i.e. the consequences of the disaster, etnographical and historical information about the area, natural phenomena in the Zone etc.) Providing information resources Taking care of the paperwork and providing official documents needed for a visit Guides and assistant (English-, Russian-, Ukrainian-speaking) Transportation and logistics Searching and selecting experts in any field you may be interested in Radiation safety:
- Personal radiation monitoring
- Vehicles and equipment radiation monitoring
With us you will be able to discover a new side of the Zone and look at it from a different angle, learn lots of new information about the largest manmade disaster and its surprising consequences.
